My only Triumph is Christ. My heart needs to entrust all things and people to Him. Doubts and troubles I bring to Him, Who is my Rock, my Savior, my North and True Love. Any other seeming triumph in life that I may have is only because of Christ. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I’ll trust that He’ll even work through my troubles for good so I can glorify Him. I thank Him.
Messed up device, and spilled raw dough all over the oven are little frustrations.
Raw sourdough in the pans that had been spilling over for hours, and a computer problem at the same time shouldn’t have changed my week’s perspective, but it did.
Recently I had an electronic issue with one of my devices, and that caused me some drama and tears and I won’t hide it. My son in law calls what I do “all the things.” It seemed that the thing was preventing me from doing all the things!
I am more forgiving about the sourdough. It is bubbly and doing something good. As for the computer issue, I don’t think I have words to describe the frustration. I can punch down dough but I could not punch a key on my computer to make anything work. Thank God now the issues are solved but while they were happening my world was crumbling. Deadlines and homework had to be finished and with both the device and the dough needing attention I wanted to have a melt down of my own.
